We are presenting our WEBINAR about Homeopathic, Alternative, All-Natural, Drug-Free Treatment for Sufferers of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), COLITIS, CROHN’S DISEASE, CONSTIPATION, DIARRHEA, FATIGUE, ABDOMINAL PAIN, BLOATING, EXCESS, GAS, DEPRESSION.

Many health care providers approach IBS to “control” it with medication. A few will give food sensitivities some attention and even fewer will perform extensive food sensitivity testing.

People with digestive disorders ofter suffer in slience. THIS WEBINAR WILL HELP YOU.

In my 15 years of treating patients with conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Peripheral Neuropathy and Hypothyroiditis, most of these patients have a common promlem: chronic digestive problems.

Practicing Functional Nutrition, and Functional Medicine for that matter, requires deductive reasoning on the doctor’s part. In other words, one must ask, “Why is this dysfunction occurring in a patient’s body?” and keep asking why until the reason for the faulty metabolism is discovered.

IBS is the end result of dysfunctional metabolism “upstream” from the gut. A wise professor once told the class, “If a dog is barking, get off his tail,” meaning that we should not concentrate on where the symptoms are expressing themselves, but focus on what’s causing the problem.

I’ve discovered these types of causes “upstream” from IBS:
• Food-based IBS
• Bug-based IBS (parasites, bacteria, yeast)
• Neurotransmitter-based IBS (stress)

Food-based IBS requires proper testing, not always available at commercial labs. The following tests must be done to navigate the treacherous waters of IBS through diet:
• Food Sensitivity Testing
• Intestinal Permeability Testing
• Cross-reactivity Testing

Dysbiosis is a fancy word meaning too many bad bugs in the gut and not enough good bugs. This is a very common cause of IBS. Bug-based IBS requires its own testing protocol:
• CBC with Differential
• Stool Microbial Ecology
• Biofilm Testing
• 1.25 OH Vitamin D (elevated in hidden infections)

Neurotransmitter-based IBS can be determined with the following:
• Neurotransmitter Assessment Forms (NTAF)
• Neurological Examination
• Blood/Saliva Testing

This form of IBS starts in the brain and flows down to the middle brain stem through the vagus nerve into the gut. A deficiency in production of a certain neurotransmitter causes a lack of inhibition of “stress responses.”

This response winds up the sympathetic nervous system, also known as the “fight or flight response” and down regulates the parasympathetic nervous system, also known as the “feeding and breeding” nervous system. All three IBS triggers must be evaluated properly in order to solve the problem, not just control it!
